The VicTennis Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2020 is coming up on Sunday August 30at 12pm. We're planning to hold it before Sunday Social at Malvern Tennis Centre with limited numbers, but depending on Victoria's restrictions at the time we may have to hold it virtually - we'll confirm closer to the date. In a glamorous event at Wink Wink, Prahran, Melbourne. The Australian Open launched the GlamSlamAO. The event was attended by many GlamSlam tennis players and very high delegation from GlamSlam Melbourne (Rowen D'Souza; Tournament director), Tennis Australia (Craig Tiley; CEO), Tennis Victoria, Equality Australia, The Minister of equality; Martin Foley, gender and sexuality commissioner; Ro Allen and many more. The event also attracted many media reporters local and international covering the biggest LGBTQI+ tennis inclusion event in a Grand Slam.
Glam Slam 2020 Players T-Shirts launched at VicTennis Sunday Social. With a few international players already arriving in Australia for the Australian Summer of Tennis and the biggest LGBTIQ+ Tennis inclusion event. VicTennis welcomed an overwhelming turn out of players, however Adam Fitzgerald (VicTennis board committee member) our Host for the event is a guarantee the day ran seamlessly for everyone at the launch event.

The Glam Slam just got bigger: Show Court 3 at Melbourne Park (shaded capacity 3000) will be transformed into our “Pride Arena” on Sunday 2nd of Feb for our Glam Slam Finals. It’s a great opportunity for our LGBTIQ+ community to join us to celebrate Diversity & Inclusion at the AO 2020. Everyone is welcome. #YouBelong

The Midsumma Festival guide is now live. The Glam Slam is the largest sporting event at this years Midsumma. As well as 200+ players from 35 countries we hope to encourage members of our LGBTIQ+ community to join us at the AO.
