The Chill Out Tennis Championships will this year feature both singles and doubles events for twice the fun on your Labour Day Long Weekend.

An annual tradition and much loved by our VicTennis members, the event coincides with the Chillout Festival in a celebration of queer country pride.

The Chill Out Tennis Championships will be held as a round robin format in both singles and doubles across three grades with the best performing teams in each pool progressing to the finals.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Format and Rules

Singles and Doubles round-robin matches will be a single set to 6 with a 7 point tiebreak at 5 all if required.

All matches will be a maximum of 40 minutes in duration.

If a match is incomplete at the 40 minute mark the player or team that is ahead on games wins.

If games are tied a sudden death point is played with the server being the person who is serving or due to serve the next point.

Standard round robin rules following pre-set GLTA default software settings apply. Players advance on match, set and game difference in that order.
